Does this card have the new fitting for the atx 3.0 power supplys or not as Jay2 cents said it doesn't.

The EVGA RTX 3090ti has a 16 pin connector. I have this video card myself. For ATX 3.0 PSUs that have the 12 + 4 pin connector cable you can use this, but the 4 pin data connector probably wouldn't work.

It's weird as it looks as it has the newer conecter, save me upgrading my psu, thanks.

In the box of the RTX 3090ti FTW EVGA video card is an adapter cable.

the question by JZ was IF the 4-pin on the 12-pin power connector --> was actually "active" on the 3090Ti
 
the 4-pin is for "communications between PSU & GPU"  ... stops GPU from asking for more power if PSU is not capable of delivering
 
Answer --> Only EVGA would know for sure
