I would think the connector on the new pSUs will be about the same quality at the adaptor that they will be sending with the 4090 cards.
You will need a high quality high wattage and I am sure the specs will say what the minimal wattage is.
Pretty sure my EVGA 1600 w P2 will work just fine
I’ve run overclocked quad socket Opteron servers that were over 800 watts with adapters.
It’s 600 watts and the plug is made for it.
I’m not going to worry about it

Really?
There are more pictures and evidence to reconsider that...

Don’t bend the wires! Looks like they will have to come up with a beefier connection since they are now pulling that much current.
I doubt the end on a PSU cable will be of that much more quality than the adapters
I’m sure you will still have to not bend the cable even if it is the new version.
The connection design is now being overpowered and will have to get more robust as these things get more power hungry
Just like a 60 amp contactor vs. 20 amp contactor. They are saying it’s rare and under curtain conditions
Guess when the time comes I will just have to install it and Put a load on it and watch it

I certainly hope not and have not seen any indication that is the case. Only that they are currently not producing new models of GPU's. We need more companies like EVGA.

Not sure where to ask this, but my EVGA stickers on my case are old and faded. I don't know if the stickers are still included with new GPUs but I assumed they would be and I'd have just gotten new ones for the 40 series.

I guess I'll send an e-mail or something asking for the stickers but I thought I'd ask here first. Yes, I'd like to rock the EVGA branding even without the GPUs probably while I still have this PC hobby. I'd gladly take a dozen or two of the stickers to last hopefully a lifetime. Is it at all possible to get these things somehow?

Well you wont be getting these>

My EVGA forum quote from 2009 "I even still have the original case badges from the Original Power User Card/Cards"  6800 ULTRA 256MB AGP"

Company died a long time ago.. somethings are just better left for history... few more years these originals will be 20 years old.
