Sad to hear the last 3 gens (skipped 2 gens in between)I did buy where all from you guys.
I do hope you will still try to give us as long as warranty as possible sins I did bought 10 years of it on my 3090. I do fear though for this to be a lot shorter now. This as well a bit more sins i am in the eu. Hope we will get some info about this soon.

I do wish all the workers the best for now and in what the future brings. Maybe there are other products to take a look at to switch to.

I got my 3080 2 years ago. I bought the 10-year warranty. I can't see how they can replace cards that far down the road if there not making any kind of card. So I think there should be some sort of refund option to return our money for the value left on the warrantys.

Maybe they will make 50xx GPUS or did they say never again?

They said never again, out of the market. No plans to sell any.

This is horrific news. I have trusted EVGA for my video cards for several generations and have never considered purchasing from anyone else because of the level of quality and support I have always received here. As a consumer this is extremely frustrating. I don't think there's another manufacturer that comes close to the level of customer service that EVGA has always offered nor the quality of product. This is not good news at all.

Wonder who will pick up Kingpin.  Really nothing left of EVGA at this point beyond rebranded PUS's and a couple mediocre keyboards.  Publicly burning a bridge with 75% of the GPU market leaves you with another vendor that has them by the balls if and when they want.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked and sadden by this news.

Been a long time consumer to the #1 GPU retailer of the North American Continent and to many around the world with world class customer service along with their current and former programs.

Being around for so long I recall when Nvidia came hammering on EVGA about pushing their GPUs beyond what they should be doing and than forcing them to stop selling the EVGA's EVBot (OCing tool for your GPU on the fly) several years back.

I never thought anything of it as just a silly bump on the road but fast forward a few years later, these last few years have been tough for everyone and many companies but it seems Nvidia's explosive sales and massive shipments to mining firms only strengthened and expanded their ultra ego and greed.  They must've left EVGA to fend for themselves and figure it out on their own while on a tight leash.

No one will ever know what really went down behind the scenes but if a statement or a 'leak' to explain what went on would calm the rumors and emotions so we can all grieve and move on.

Absolute devistated.

RIP EVGA GPUs!

On the flip side, what does this mean for Nvidia?  What were the sales EVGA MADE for Nvidia?  It's going to be a huge BLOW to them.  Oh that's right, Nvidia got into selling gaming GPUs, basically flipping the bird to the AIBs.  I always felt that this day might come because they basically don't need them anymore if they're selling direct to the consumer via gaming GPUs.

Didn't Nvidia panic and preorder a boat load of silicon from TSMC for the 4000 series with the whole chip shortage frenzy, expecting a future rush and than backstep to reduce their orders only to be declined by TSMC when the crypto winter arrived?

If there's a meteor out there, now would be a good time.

EDIT: After watching the tech jeebus video, I also have this to add.

Either Nvidia apologizes and changes it's toxic policies against AIBs and gives them a heads up and more freedoms or (hopeful) they join Intel GPUs but after watching the tech jeebus video, it sounds like the EVGA CEO is definitely done with GPU manufacturing.

What's even more bothersome is the possible downfall this decision may caused because most people come here to purchase a GPU and think secondly that they need a PSU to power said GPU and whatever else they may need.  EVGA's CEO is going based on the other component sales and not realize it was the GPUs that helped those sales happen.  My point is, consumers always thought EVGA as a GPU powerhouse and with that ingredient gone, I don't think they can survive because no one sees EVGA as a PSU or keyboard/mouse company.

I really don't think EVGA's CEO thought this through or might have health issues or what have you.  I'm starting to think this decision might have killed the company.

I can't help but wonder if the statement about not entering into talks with other GPU companies "at this time" is do to contractual obligations.
It could be that they have to wait until the contract is legally dissolved to even discuss interests in other companies.

It might have been a real tight contract that enabled EVGA to get the status of #1 Nvidia AIB.

Nvidia is not a great company to do business with and they are not the only Supplier that EVGA can use. I have always used an EVGA card since EVGA came out. I have never owned a Nvidia Branded GPU and never will.
