I have a feeling with all going on in the world today GPU's may become very hard to get, of any kind in the not too distant future.

Glad I have two EVGA 3090 Ti FTW3's.

I'm kinda glad I don't!

We need a official answer from EVGA for what's going to happen when those of us with extended warranties on our GPUs end up needing replacement in 8-9 years when EVGA won't have the ability to repair or replace them.

Agreed, what about my 7 year warranty on the 3080TI FTW3?

Why? They are great cards. I've been beating the hell out of my first one with 520+ watts daily for 8 hours a day for months now.

Yeah, the plan here was to wait untill prices came back close to MSRP, gather some capital for it, and get a 3080 since it had a good price/performance ratio. I mean, that was the sole reason of joining here.

Guess getting an EVGA 3080 was never meant to be...

Taking the "VGA" out of "EVGA".

Well I hate to think EVGA may not be here in three years and the warranty if one fails under warranty.
Will they give you the cash back if they can't give you a replacement of = or grater production.
I have a 3080ti with the ten year warranty. Sure hope it doesn't fail..
I use cards for a very long time. Even still use Radeon 280x when I need to and 6bg Titans
I know how my luck goes.

NO COMPANY ON EARTH loses 80% of their revenue overnight and survives.  PERIOD!  This announcement is tantamount to a "going out of business" notice.  There is no freaking way that EVGA survives just selling two different mobos and power supplies and a few peripherals.

I agree, but they have no other options from the sounds of it. If EVGA are selling GPU's at a loss and 80% of the company revenue is operating at a loss, then what choice do they have? All other AIB's have other products to survive on. ASUS and GIGABYTE have motherboards, PSU, Monitors, etc. If the company is going to bleed to death, might as well try to minimize the major cuts which would to stop selling product at a loss.

The only gpu I've ever owned is EVGA. From an 8800 I think it was to a gtx660ti & now an rtx3080 & several K|NGP|NS & CLASSYs in between. I can't imagine dealing with another vendor but guess I'll have to. Glad I didn't skip this generation.
I hope you guys innovate & bring us great products without Nvidia in the future!
