The laptop works with the power brick plugged in, but the battery always stays at 0%. So the Laptop won't turn on unless the power brick is plugged into it. What could be wrong?

+1 Has to be the battery.

Yep. Has to be replaced.

Sounds like battery. We unfortunately do not have any more stock of the SC15 ones.

I was told. Anyway, I purchased a battery from Amazon. The battery will be here in a couple days.

The battery came today. I installed it, but this battery too will not charge from 0%. It starts to, and lasts about 10 seconds before it stops charging. I wonder if the Laptop is bad, and cannot be fixed, or if there is a way to fix the problem. It will only work with the charging cable plugged in.

Did other people leave Amazon reviews about that battery working fine? Sometimes generic batteries don't work because their battery management circuitry is incompatible and whoever designed it either doesn't know or doesn't care.
But if other reviewers say it worked great for them, I guess it is the laptop. Weird though, since you would expect to see something a little burned or stinky around the time that the original battery stopped charging.

Old battery and new battery do the exact same thing. I'm thinking the Laptop has gone bad, only where charging the battery is concerned. It works fine when plugged into the wall outlet. Just means I can't use it on the road, unless I'm somewhere that it can be plugged in. Kind of sucks.

I know what you mean. Neither my SC17 nor my Razer Blade laptops have their batteries installed. I only travel with the Razer Blade, but both of the laptops had batteries which started puffing up to varying degrees, and I don't want to risk damaging the laptop or causing an in-flight fire. I am over here in Asia plugging in and unplugging my laptop everywhere I go.
