I can't get the passthrough to work with an OLED LG and HDMI 2.1 cables; the TV does not recognize the input. It works with a standard monitor with HDMI 2.0

Edit:
Please take a look at this, and maybe it goes in the right direction: .

Especially this part:

I am unable to update either of our XR1s.
I have tried it with 3 separate computers.

Both say v0311 for firmware, is there a bridge/interim firmware I need?

Thanks for the help!

Updated the firmware and now the mic-in/line-out (headset) no longer works. Any idea what's going on?

Edit: shutdown PC, unplugged, replugged, working.

Hey I am getting a "Please run FW update tool on USB 3.0 port." message whenever i try to launch the update. I have tried all the USB 3.0 ports. Any fixes? I'm considering returning my order.

Getting a red light on my XR1 Lite whenever i hook it up to a video source, and a "no video" message in OBS. Really frustrating.

does it support FULL 2.1 protocalls/bandwidth?

I have been trying for months to get a straight answer on this. I live with a family. I seem to be the only person in my house to understand how the remote works. CEC (the auto-on/volume/remote function) is a must. I connect the XB Series X to an LG OLED with an Atmos sound system. So, eARC, Dolby Vision, 4K@120hZ, as well as VRR need to be supported on the TV output. Are they?

Thaank you

EVGA does not seem to be making, updating, or supporting the majority of its products or software any more. There are a number of owners of this product who have posted questions or problems with no response from EVGA. If EVGA won't respond to customers who have problems, I wouldn't expect them to respond to a person who hasn't even bought the product yet.

I would NOT buy this product. It seems that you would be buying a product from a moment in time which either will work or will not work, with no additional support.

Unfortuanately, I did not see this in time. I got an XR1 Pro and tried it. In short, nope.

It is not actually 2.1. It does not have DV passthu at any resolution,  nor eARC, and not even CEC. Those last 2 are in the 2.1 definition so actually calling it 2.1 is false advertising. shame on you evga. it can do 120hz for about 5  secs then it constantly drops connection, even at 1440. and yes I was using actual 2.1 tested cables, but just in case I swapped them with another set of 2.1 cables.

Almost a year later but i just want to point out that the issue with hdmi 2.1 passthrough is not always/only the card's fault .
With my LG 27gs95qe, I needed to go into the monitor settings and change hdmi input compatibility from hdmi(pc) to hdmi(va) for the passthrough to work. You obviously need the latest firmware too.
I hope this helps
