Nice build. Surprised you didn't go hard tubing, its just so much more clean. If I were to choose soft, 100% black tubing. Looks super clean. Great scores on your benches too. Your 12900K was definitely a better bin than mine.
Thanks Glor1
Yeah simply cant be bothered with Hard Tube....that level of aesthetics Im not looking for at all..flex is too easy.....I'm more about performance...although the Hard Tubing indeed is "super clean"!!
I can bench no problem with this 12900k P 5.3 E 4.1 reasonable voltages.....5.4 all core takes big leaps though!
Funny I was just looking at ordering some more flex tube and will likely go matte black this time around ;)
I see you too are from the land of the Creepy F***ing Dictator, as Joe Rogan so eloquently put it.
With that said, you likely order from Daz. I ordered 10' of matt black EK soft tubing from Daz. I have yet to have used it. But have been told it is nasty stuff. So maybe look at a different brand. I was going to use it for my last build (i9-10850k/RTX3070 Ultra), but went with Tygon instead.
And I agree with you on using soft tubing VS hard. Hard tubing does look a lot cleaner if executed proper. However, I have also seen some complete abortions with hard tubing. My builds are form and function. Aesthetics are secondary. I do take pride in my builds and make them as pleasing to the eye as I can though. But performance is always paramount.
