My RTX3080 is black screening under the slightest stress (as in, it can't even get past the menu of Diablo 2 Resurrected - it can't even complete userbenchmark!).

I'm trying to figure out if my PSU is the culprit just before I send the card off to be RMAd (again).

I captured this log with GPU-Z and ran userbenchmark just to see what the log would like when it crashed, but I am not seeing anything too weird, except maybe that the PCIe slot is not drawing much power.

Anyone with more electrical knowledge mind having a look? It's unreadable in pastebin itself, but if you download it as a text file, it keeps the formatting.

When you post an issue we need your system specs including make and model of PSU.

Are the fans on the gpu ramping up to full blast when the black screen occurs?

Sometimes. The first crash did, and I reckon what happened damaged something (whether the card or the PSU or the mobo is difficult to tell), and since then it's about 50/50 with the fans.

Best thing to do would be to test your card in another known good working system with a known good psu that can handle the 3000 series transient spikes to see if the issue will follow the card. Take the card to a local pc shop for testing if you have to.

That's where it becomes difficult. I've done a run around all of the repair places in the city over the last few days, and none of them have a test rig with a PSU that can power the card. I ended up having to drop my own PSU in with the card for it to be tested, and indeed it showed the same issue. However, I can't rule out the PSU now :/

Sounds like you’ll need to try with a different psu then, or you could just rma the card. It’s either the psu or gpu.

Alright, thanks Sajin, I'll see what options I have for that.

Appreciate all the advice!
