EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders

Good move. Now, silly question. Do we must update our profile and put the country code on the phone? Or will you get it from the "Country" field somehow?
This might seems a stupid question, but I'm sure many haven't set the code (me the first). If the check process goes through reviewing the profile data, I wouldn't like to miss my chance for such a silly detail.

That's a very valid question and I'd like to know that as well. Usually the placeholder in the form field is a clue of the format to be used (e.g: +12 345 678 9000 or 345 678 9000 directly) but from what I can see there is none. I think I'll set mine with country code for the time being and change it back if needed. Better to have more details than too few I guess.

Since we're still working on adding this, I can ask our programming team to check on this.  However, this would be more likely to impact people purchasing on our EU store.

Bowenac, I would guess that this card will not move far, if at all.  I would remove it from the list if it were my decision.  3755 and 3797 move well and are more certain to get you a notify.

I only have that and the 3797 6/10/2021 7:28:40 AM PT on my notify list. Should I still remove it?

I would leave them as is if you only have 2 queued.

Hope they made both phone numbers UNIQUE KEY! Or it won't work as expected XD

Since we're still working on adding this, I can ask our programming team to check on this.

Ask them to check for duplicated phones. Multiple accounts with the same personal and shipping phone can be suspicious:-D. If someone with many accounts set the same phone to all of them, he can check any checkout process from a single phone. It wouldn't make a big deal improvement the SMS confirmation.
You will have to allow duplicates, but setting a threshold is something to consider.

Everyone,

As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.

Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.

After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:

1.    The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
  • Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
  • EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2.    In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page at https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp and keep only the top two cards selected that you would like to purchase, and remove the others.
  • On October 11th, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
  • Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup.
  • EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
  • EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3.    The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled.
4.    The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.

EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.

Thanks
EVGA

On behalf of those that were getting the short end of the stick for the last day or so, thanks for changing the changes.

I only had one notify and it was for the KPHC, which is a moonshot anyway.

Maybe require an EVGA account and even SMS verification for registering for a GPU notification queue too (going forward).

edit: well that's weird.. I had 4 notifies from as old as January 2020 suddenly appear active again, even though some of the items are currently in stock or I had already purchased them last year. I canceled them again, but glad I checked (they were for an 850P2 PSU, some PSU cables, a 2070 Super, and something unidentifiable).

Well hopefully this latest change helps you out, as it seems like it would be hard to scalp vs. other cards and I can imagine some of the normal people signed up for it aren't serious about actually buying it.  Looks like a few sold on ebay in the last month.
