SonicWinsStep up is fast probably because 3080ti is poor value. I wanted a 3080 but that 1 year search went nowhere.

Mostly overpriced. I was in that same one year boat and my current 1080 was starting to act funny, and I was lucky enough from Newegg to snag a 3060ti.

The Ti is within a couple of FPS of the 3090, at 4K Ultra settings. Honestly, the 3080Ti is a bargain for people who game at 4K. And yes, I know that $1300 and bargain don't often mix.
Took 2 days in the step up queue for a 3080 To. Purchased in early December. As soon as it shipped to my home, I registered it and put in my invoice. Then I immediately signed up for step up.Got my notification two days later and my 3060 Ti was sent off that night with the payment made.
