Just completed my rebuild, 3080 FTW3, EK vector + Ek backplate + cpu upgrade to 5950x
My system is a 011 DXL dual xspc radiators (top + bottom), GPU is in a vertical mount above the push pull. System fan curve is modest and not too loud. Push pull nfa-12 on bottom, push nfa-12 on top, single nfa-12 at rear. Case is hard tube but I wanted to test the block fitment and temps before I drain and take down the hard tube. I mounted the block and hooked it up an an external ek xe 360 rad and pump to test.
I ran furmark for 22 minutes on each run then played games for an hour to get the temps.

One thing I noticed is on the backplate the instructions are a little off for the thermal pad placement. Once you start test fitting it you realize it isnt lined up on one section, by the memory closer to the rear of the card. I added some of the left over thermal pad to make contact all of the components. Other then that the card worked fine.
I do notice the back plate gets very hot when gaming, like feels weirdly too hot by hand but I guess that is doing its job and transferring the heat from the components.
Also there is noticeable coil whine now, even when the case is closed. It doesn’t happen when benchmarking or normal task, but in games it is noticeable, it seems to die down after a while but I have not been able to isolate which part it is from yet.
