I'm trying to use mine but it's locked at 1080p even when forcing the monitor, through both windows methods and NVidia methods, to run at 2k. see image below.

checking the specs here:

    Video Input Resolution: 480p / 576p / 720p / 1080p / 2160p @60fps
    Video Passthrough Resolution: 480p / 576p / 720p / 1080p / 2160p @60fps
it really looks like 1440p isn't supported at all, even the full version doesn't allow 1440p passthrough without using "advanced pass through" something this lite version doesn't have, and doesn't allow capture anyway.Granted 1440p@60hz is less than2160p@60hz, so it doesn't seem to be that it's beyond it's "power" or whatever per say, it just isn't supported, even though it seems like an odd thing to not support a major resolution between two others that it does support.

I am so sad because I received the USB3HDCAP yesterday and it is very hard to use... this would have been the perfect thing for my setup and saved me $100. Finally a good capture card for OSSC and the classic retro games!

I'm having an issue with my XR1 lite,  no matter what software I use Streamlabs OBS or OBS Studio.  the device is only allowing 720p.  I do not see an option for 1080p?  Even when I try to use custom settings  the drop down only allows me to select 720p.. has anyone else had this problem with the XR1 lite?  I'm trying to capture my  windows 11 pc  by cloning my primary display to the xR1 lite.    Any thoughts on what's going on here ? It's plugged into a USB 3 port.

I was able to resolve my issues.

1) uninstalled the XR1 device in device manager on streaming PC
2) ensured windows updates where all installed.  I had a Intel  chipset driver  in optional updates.  I think it helped with the USB 3 ports on the motherboard.
3) checked source PC to ensure it was outputting at 1080p resolution
4) rebooted streaming pc after updates, this is my computer where the XR1 Lite device is plugged into.
5) re-plugged the XR1 into a new USB 3.0 port on motherboard
6) removed and re-added the device in Streamlabs and OBS studio.
7) now it's showing as 1080p

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE AUDIO?!?!
Image is great but the audio sounds like it is underwater or in a bubble or BOTH!! I can't seem to find any options to edit the audio to make it sound better and I haven't seen anything about software from EVGA for that either. My streams sound TERRIBLE now!

Nope sorry , two computers. Gaming computer and streaming computer. Obs studio and ndi plug-in on gaming computer. And then Streamlabs on 2nd pc for streaming where the xr1 lite is plugged in.
