I just keep the temp locked to the power limit. Max out power at 113%.

I did finally get a crash in CP2077 at +135 core. Took several hours. Rolled back to +120. +1100 mem.

Did you touch the voltage?

No, no reason to do that. Not enough power for it to matter. Better off limiting clocks so it doesn't jump up in a menu or something and crash.

Wow this may have helped me gain another 30Mhz. I was 100% voltage and I put it to 0% and increased to +90 core instead of +60 and so far so good. Seems like additional voltage doesn’t really help stabilize at all and only adds power/heat.

Still testing in CP2077 but thanks!

It's because there is less headroom for overclocking at higher voltages. The real way to do this is flatten out the VF curve above where the card normally boosts to.

Yea, I could do that but too lazy lol.  I just like to squeeze a bit more out of the card the easy way.  Seems like my core is 2010 max stable, ill just live with it.  1 FPS going up another +30 is not going to mean much long term anyways :D

There's really no difference other than a margin of error - basically the power limiting ends up limiting clocks.  At +1200 memory these cards start to regress.  If you want even better scores, the only way to improve is via better cooling (hybrid/water).

I can push +125/+1000 on benchies but I advise everyone to play Control with RTX Ultra or Cyberpunk with RTX Ultra

I play Control +125/500 which is stable in my case. Massive performance boosts over my previous card.

You don't want to push that memory higher?

Y’all talking about having these big boy cards while I have onboard graphics LOL :(

Sure, but I tested it, and it does not add meaningful performance (fps in games) and increases memory temp and consumption. I have not tested it thoroughly, but memory then eats power from the GPU, so it will not boost as high and also I have already high memory junction temp.

I will indeed check this setting for each game I play and if additional memory OC adds performance boost I will increase it - just alt tab to precision or afterburner, change memory OC take a look at fps change.

Installed the hybrid kit.  Small drop in temps.  To be fair, I had the cover off and a box fan blowing in the case with the air cooler though.  LOL

I am not aware of OC memory zapping that much more power or making them unsafely hot.
