So definitely odd behavior. Well I wanna install a block on it but seems like not running right

The card works fine, yes just easily power limited at 450 watts. If you look at reviews of other vendor 3080 Tis, most are stuck in the 1800-1850mhz zone because of even lower power between 350-400watts. Trust me bro, don't over stress worrying about it.

This has been covered before. The card under reports total power in the monitoring apps by 30 watts or so. It normally gets close to 450w in more demanding games, but will show 410-430w in GPUZ/HWINFO.

There's no 500w bios for 3080ti. Just the Galax 1kw bios for a higher PL. But it's not a daily driver and definitely use at your own risk.

If it makes you feel better, my card (ftw3) has reported 447w to HWinfo and while gaming can sit between 418-447 and eventually clocks down to 1890-1920mhz range (or lower) from the excess heat production.  My TS / PR scores aren't better than others here, despite supposedly being able to hit 447w+ whatever other power isn't being reported and really the difference is insignificant in fps gains.

Uh, I wasn't feeling bad about it in the first place. I was trying to quell this notion that the cards have an issue due to the reported power draw. They will all see reported peaks closer to 450w with the some games/benchmarks.

Nice to see high benchmark scores, but there is little FPS to be gained (5-10) from pushing the card that hard.  At the end of the day you are just moving a lot more heat into the room.

If you are already heatsoaked and clocking down to 1890, then why not just lock in around .925mv/1900mhz and save yourself 50-100 watts?

what software is everyone using to OC their cards? I really only have experience with afterburner.

Afterburner for me, but it only lets me move the power slider to 112% while PX1 lets me move it to 113%??

It's the same though I think. Just the real number is 12.5% (450/400). I also use AB exclusively.

Does yours show 112 or 113?
