Well yes but I don't know what version is on the mobo. Not sure if evga updates theirs because I heard of others with similar issues.

My ram also isn't listed in the memory list.

So either cpu defective, bios update required, defective ram or noncompatible ram

You have to go to the support download page to get the last bios for your Z370 Micro to flash it... There's only one version of your mainboard that's not like Gigabyte with rev 1.0 1.1 3.0 3.1 and so on

I know that but I cant install bios update without a 8th gen cpu and if this isn't a problem with needing a bios update then I'm going to be ticked off for buying a cpu I don't need and isn't required. If it is then I guess evga found extra z370 Microsoft in their warehouse and selling off leftover stock that they can get rid of which is probably reason why my 9th gen cpu doesn't just work since I bought this mobo in early 2021. Must be really old bios

Look at my previous posts, i've well said that you have to borrow an 8th gen (8350k, 8300, 8500, 8600, 8600k) from one of your friends... if not, you can buy it new through Amazon then make your bios update then return it before the 14 days

Ok fine is it a new one or used ? Hope it would work since Celerons and Pentiums don't appear in the cpu support list... if not the best thing will be to find a 8350k/8400/8500/8600/8600k to be able to flash your bios or else sell your 9700K back and return your G4900 to find and purchase a 8700K 6C/12T or 8600K 6C/6T which will be directly supported by your mainboard with its current bios... or else keep your 9700K and sell your Z370 Micro back to buy another Z370/Z390 micro-atx board from another manufacturer such as Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock or Asus and check on their websites before your purchase to see if they do support your 9700K with early bios

It's most likely an outdated BIOS. 1.12 has vdroop options and 1.16 has ReBAR support. I'm using this board for its decent dimm per channel and VRM features. 32GB at 3900-15-15-15 is pretty awesome.

Celeron g4900 came but still same issue. Tried a hdmi cable from my TV that usually connects to ps3. Now im SOL... I think it might be ram related. I remember if it was a neighbor or usps threw my ram that was barely padded next to dumpster. Only way it could get there is by throwing it. Maybe its damaged... I checked qvl on it. No problems so it could be faulty ram. Gonna borrow relatives 3600mhz ram and see if it works if it does my ram faulty

Really.. 1.12 has vdroop options? I read people complained about it on Amazon reviews. It never said it updated on their view bios versions. Very vague. Also hear they call this setting weird its like vdroop enabled helps disable it or something.

Also, "Current/EDP Limit Throttling on EVGA Z370 Micro ATX after updating BIOS" on evga market place they said they found it had current limit through evga z370 micro seems to have the same problem as x299 dark. The bios update was from jan 2021. The oldest bios was from like 2017 and so is the z370 micro. That would be great for them to update this.

Can you disable hpet from your bios/uefi?

I'm still having d6 error, need to figure out whats up

Yea I heard great reviews on the vrm. Its minimalistic and I like evga products.
