The measurements provided by Lee, pre-date but do they cover the 3080 Ti FTW3 as well? Thicknesses of 2.25/2.75 appear to be atypical for 3rd party vendors, I'm looking for pad thicknesses (Thermalright, Gelid etc.) that will accommodate the EK Quantum Vector and associated Active Backplate, thanks.

Are you asking for pad thickness to attach your water block and backplate? If so, just go to the installation manuals for each to get the thickness, then order from your preferred pad maker.
yes and thank you, I do have the manuals now but was actually looking to hear from those who have this same setup as I have with comparing the quality of their pads which I hear are not very good vs 3rd party.

Compression effects the thermal conductivity. If you buy 3rd party pads they may not work as well because they're being compressed to the EVGA thickness.
Ask EVGA for a set and make sure they send a full and complete set of thermal pads for your GPU.
They've sent me a generic bare minimum set twice and I still don't have the full and complete set I asked for.

right on the compression aspect, but I'm using EK block and active backplate along with of course their pad dimensions which comprise 1mm, 1.5mm & 2mm, but with Thermaltake Odyssey pads

thanks for EVGA tech to respond with the thickness for the pads. Great info for us who would like to change the pads down the road.

3080 Ti coolers match 3080 measurements, and 3070 Ti matches 3070 measurements.

3080ti xc3 hybrid pad thickness will be the same as the 3080 ftw3 hybrid thickness?

3090/3080 FTW3 HYBRID/HYBRID Kit Pads:
Spoiler

Thermal pads for VRAM heatsink:
2pcs: 49mm x 13mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 37.5mm x 12mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 13mm x 13mm x 2.25mm

Thermal pads for standalone heatsink:
1pcs: 80mm x 4.5mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 75mm x 11mm x 0.75mm - Note: This thermal pad is not initially on the HYBRID card.  Thermal putty is used in its place.  If you remove/clean the thermal putty, then replace it with a thermal pad of these dimensions.

Thermal pads for heatsink connected to the fan:
1pcs: 106mm x 5mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 105mm x 11mm x 0.75mm - Note: This thermal pad is not initially on the HYBRID card.  Thermal putty is used in its place.  If you remove/clean the thermal putty, then replace it with a thermal pad of these dimensions.

For the Hybrid Kit on the 90, can we use 2.5mm pads 2+.5 and 1 mm pads since theres no pads available in increments of .25?

I recently purchased an EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING video card, 24G-P5-3987-KR and after the first use I saw that the video memory heats up rapidly to critical temperatures of 108-110 degrees in 1-2 minutes, but the core remains cold 35- 40 degrees. I want to add that I have 7 of the same graphics cards and I know that the memory of that 30 series is hot, but none of my other cards reaches 90 degrees in memory even during prolonged use. I inspected the map visually and noticed that in one city from the backplane side the thermal pad is not tight with the memory chip. I'm adding a video to show you exactly what I mean.So do I need to contact EVGA or can I just remove the backplate and replace one gasket? Will I lose the guarantee? Thanks !

Nope won't void your warranty.  Easy to remove too and won't affect the mount as long as you don't remove the 4 screws around the core.

I just successfully remounted using 2mm Gelid Ultimates.  Didn't reduce temps as much as I had hoped though.  About 6C.  If you use Gelid Extreme pads (much softer than Ultimate), you could use 2+0.5 or 1.5+1.0.  Just try to stack them without any air gaps.  I think some people put thermal paste in between.  Not sure if that helps but probably doesn't hurt.

Thank you very much for the answer, but to change one piece of thermal gasket on one chip I will have to open the backplate, and one of the bolts has a warranty seal (sticker)
