EVGA Z590 motherboards paired with 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors bring unprecedented speed and bandwidth to the latest graphics cards and M.2 NVMe SSDs, along with improved performance across the board. Built with the Intel® Z590 Chipset, these motherboards are PCIe Gen4 ready with a data transfer rate up to 16 GT/s, doubling the previous generation. As befitting this milestone, EVGA designed and engineered these new motherboards from scratch, resulting in a pair of sleek-looking motherboards jam-packed with the latest features. Introducing the EVGA Z590 DARK and Z590 FTW WIFI motherboards – the first of a new generation of EVGA motherboard excellence.

The Z590 dark FINALLY has 4 slot spacing to match that of HEDT motherboards, meaning the second PCIx16 slot is accessible while using an air cooled 30 series GPU!

I am sad to see the RGB on it, since the dark was specifically supposed to omit things that were flashy in favor of performance. I guess it doesn’t take away from performance, but it shows a shift in the stance of the dark lineup that that I don’t think I like the idea of seeing happen.

I am in favor of it as the bios has a 'dark mode' toggle to disable all the blinky lights - so it's a high performance motherboard which carries appear regardless of your taste for RGB

So can EVGA finally comment on whether their Z490 boards will be getting a BIOS update to support PCIE 4.0 with the new CPUs.

That DARK looks sick.

I *could* be wrong but I don't think this is possible as I don't think the physical interfaces on the motherboard are PCIE 4.0

Liking the look of the Z590 Dark.  Will be a tough decision to leave my Z490 KPE board, but so far not sure if there's enough gains to move to the Z590 platform besides PCIe 4.  Z490 should still support the newest Intel CPUs.

Like the effort they have put into aesthetics on both of these boards, tasteful and restrained!!! Nice job guys.

Dark looks nicer heatsink wise though I still see that extremely cheap IO cover which I removed from mine since it makes it look like a $75 board instead of a $400 one.  Nice to see M.2 cooling was added too since evga was the only brand without it.

Whoa why the Flagship Dark only has 2 dimms slot?

Been that way since the Z390 Dark.  Better for overclocking.
