I'm confused, how is it some KP customers have access to the XOC bios and others don't? I emailed the KP email that was posted in this forum with a serial and haven't received a response. It says "ULTIMATE XOC" right at the top of the product page.

I also have a small, Noctua 92mm fan blowing on the backplate.
 
I should have a Corsair Pro controller coming tomorrow so I can move the fans off of the card's power and onto SATA power so hopefully that will give a bit of extra juice.

Not super impressed with the stock Kingpin by the results I’m seeing here. My 3090 Suprim X can do 14,500 port royal just fine simply by maxing the fans and using +160/+1000 clocks in afterburner. 14,300 with quiet fans. These <5% marginal gains going to a Kingpin are so incredibly slim :(

By doing VF OC which is proper way you see your chip is not bad at all. 2235 and 2220 Holds. Probably  hitting PT with " the other way".
 
I still ask for 525W for FTW3 3080 because i can do 2310 + easy with + 15mV and slightly more PT.
 
Cant you do VF OC and same time classy tool tweak ?

The Kingpin is fundamentally an extreme overclocking card. It’s designed to handle liquid nitrogen without hard mods. A lot of people are new to the KPE this time around and they expect it to outperform other 3090s when casually moving the sliders to the right while listening to Dave Matthews Band. That you achieved +5% over another overclocked 3090 is both impressive and not guaranteed.

For these reasons I may pass on KP and hang onto FTW3 Ultra that I will be waterblocking.

Apparently clocks, including average clock, mean nothing.

My highest score has lower average clocks.

They MEAN something.
 
Port Royal is very special case. Believe me it have a soul inside. I do 30x port royal every day to tweak further and scores vary between everything
