My goodness does using Afterburner make all the difference on this card. I’m up to 15,102 for the 7th overall score on a 9900KS stock voltage max fans no classified tool in a closed case. +145 / +1200

Seeing temp limit spikes now so I’m going to stop while I’m ahead.

But yeah. RIP Precision X1 ☹️

How does using AB vs PX1 make a difference? I thought this was proven not to matter.

i used px1 for my score. as did many of the guys in the top 10
I mean if you want to use a fixed voltage then AB can be better but otherwise i dont see any difference in scores

Many ppl make the mistake of leaving px1 open or simply minimizing the program and it leads to lower performance from overhead. Then they poo poo all over px1. you need to X out of the program completely after setting your overclocks; the offsets  will remain

As for power limits concerning the KPE i cant comment

Didn't for me.  Using the XOC bios for unlimited powah and Classified tool to control voltages, so only using the OC software to set clocks.  Using X1 or Afterburner had neglible difference in the results in PR.

I don’t know. All I do know is that AB made all the difference for me. So it looks like whoever proved this theory wrong, is wrong.

I’m not using the XOC BIOS and I don’t plan to. In my post I stated I was using the 520W LN2 BIOS. On that BIOS, AB makes all the difference FOR ME.

That doesn’t make any sense. I keep AB open and running during my tests, and I see no “lower performance from overhead.” Therefore it’s clearly an issue with Precision. So many people in these forums are obsessed with being permanent contrarians, and proving anyone and everyone else wrong. So you can feel free to ignore my suggestion. That’s what I get for trying to be helpful. Your case may be different. Again I really don’t care. I’ll just keep being more than happy with my 15K+ scores on stock voltage using AB.

Happy new year.

Hello, I received the beast today after some hours of testing here's the result : 15585

- Dip switches NVVDD and MSVDD both on
- XOC bios
- Push Pull Noctua NF-F12 fans
- Starting temp 10 degree
- AB +205 ; +1500 ; +100 mV
Classified tool : NVVDD 1,25 ; MSVDD 1,00

Happy new year !

Don't know when I'll be doing round 2 but if you guys have any idea on how to increase my score 😁

Luumi recently broke the Port Royal record with this run. Notice how he increased the Frequency Hertz on the last two sliders on the classified tool. I’m going to try this on my next run.

That guy was helping you and your too hard headed to understand

He said very nicely that px1 has overhead
This is known and factual. AB typically doesnt

All you have to do to make your pseudo performance difference go away is to close px1 after setting clocks

Dont be so sensitive you little baby or else you will stay ignorant
