That’s what I would do, although I haven’t tweaked my voltages beyond stock yet. He was saying that his Precision X1 power slider wasn’t allowing him to tap into the full stock LN2 BIOS 520W power limit of his card. That same thing was happening to me until I switched to Afterburner and got about 150-250 more points in PR on repeated runs. There’s something about Precision that’s suppressing the power limit on that BIOS, at least for me.

Gotcha.  I haven't had a problem with power draw, but I've been playing with the XOC bios.  Power slider doesn't do anything.  Was pulling about 600+ with that bios.

not a KP but i wanted to join in on the fun
ftw3 gaming

just got the waterblock so only limited testing
was able to get this score with only +1,000 memory
Want to try some cold water i think 16k might be in the cards

+1,000 memory only?  No GPU/Voltage/Power/Bios tweaking?  That's a nice score.  Optimus waterblock?

yes optimus. loving the results so far!
I have it running the 520w bios. No voltage mods are available for the ftw3 unfortunately there is no header and its all analog so im stuck at 1.1v max

Very nice.  Was only able to get my KPE card to 15,300 with 1.25V and pulling near 700W.  Thermals were starting to bring down the clocks, so looking forward to someone, anyone, releasing a block for the card.  Don't have the cojones for LN2.  Though I have been eyeing chillers...

thought you said it was shunted and you have LM on the die from the other site you posted on, no?

yes correct. with 520w bios
otherwise the bios wouldnt work properly on this card

thats also a testament to the quality of this block to easily handle this heat load

not sure exactly how much of a difference the LM is making but my core temps are phenomenal. although, ppl say they usually only see about 2C better with the LM.
I need more testing but i just got the block last night

I would rather shunt than use a 1000w bios that disables internal temp monitoring which is dangerous. I've read of some ppl who already fried their 3090 cards using such a bios

That seems about right range 1-4c difference.
