to get you all back to earth, there are people (me) who received cards like this:
https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/63693448
Ofc that is without 1000w bios and classified tool. Just straight +90core and +1700mem.
Just adding + to core with X1 or AB doenst help the card. I did not tweak a custom curve by now.
I'll hopefully get a HC kit soon, so I can test this card in my loop but for now the performance is kinda meh...

BTW. when I compare the result with my ftw3 I can see that the KPE had higher average core and mem but still has a 450 pts lower score:
https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/63725246

So, is my KPE just straight up bad or is it missing the 1000w bios + classified tool to hit clocks higher than 2130mhz??

Currently I'm loving everything about this card but it's performance^^

Short answer....it's your OS. if you cant do 14100 to 14500 on stock no over clock...your OS has been hosed by Microsoft.

That's another good point.  Other software can hurt you.  Close everything you don't need during 3Dmark.  Kill anything open in the taskbar and go through your open processes and see if anything is sucking up resources and close it.  Open software can really put a dent in your score.
I also would say DDU the current drivers and do a clean install of the current nvidia drivers.  Drivers can get mucked up.

@maxenko, have you done a Port Royal stress test? What is your average sustained clock over the run?

If you can, can you you make a run with only the temp and power sliders in px1? Want to get an idea of your average sustained clock.

The reason I ask is that my KP is on the way and I am worried that it won't be any better than my FTW3 UG.

That card stock with air cooling, with only the sliders, will have an average core clock of 1947.

Underwater, with the Optimus block, +120 core +200 me I can get a 14.9k in PR with an avg clock of 2110.

Best of luck to you!

I will test this out once I hit my max. Yesterday after hitting that score - I did my usualy 20 min of Control (ray tracing game, very good for crashing GPUs). It was stable and ran at highest frames yet.

Today I found that my ram has been reset to 2666 from 4000MHz which its supposed to run at. I don't know when this happened. But now with just that set back to 4000 the score is:

I've also learned that Normal, OC and LN2 have different power limits - something nowhere to be found in documentation.
Normal: 450W
OC: 480W
LN2: 520W

So I was hard limited to 480 in OC. Will try LN2 now and play with dip switches - which are documented . Will report back.

Also each bios will have different boosts, so when someones like +90, you wanna know what bios they’re on. +90 on LN2 is way higher clock then +90 on the 1000w bios.

I never used the OC or normal bios so npt sure what they look like! Nice scores to start!

Don't think you need to play with the dip switches too much.  Think they're a fine tuning of voltage which you can already do in the Classified tool. I wouldn't mess with them.

15 919 is the best I could do with the new Optimus block without really pushing voltages:
https://www.3dmark.com/pr/1379861
Not going to be able to push it too much higher without getting ambient down.  Hard thing to do passively in SoCal.  "Winter" may be over.

Ok, that is great! Thanks for the post, been waiting to see of someone had the Optimus block.
Do you mind posting your settings, BIOS, Dip Switch positions, Mem and Core offsets?
How do you like the block? Any issues installing. (I don't want to hijack the thread, but looking for first hand experience with the KP Optimus block. Mine is on order.

Thank you!

1000W bios, don't mess with the dip switches (didn't think they did anything that the classy tool couldn't), +240 on the GPU, +1400 on Mem, Classy settings below.

Running mid-to-high 20s at idle, and as you can see in the run, was only getting to high 30s during the run, may get into the 40s if the room is warmer.  But great performance.

Only issue installing was a that the cold plate wasn't properly seated and was leaking during an air pressure test.  Basically loosened, reseated, and tightened everything at least once (sometimes more) before it could hold air.  So I'd suggest going over every screw before installation and make sure to pressure test before filling.  There's another user who had a similar issue, so I'd check everything to be safe.

Oh, and I was missing a screw.  Had the same size in my bin-o-screws, but would have been a pain otherwise.  So check to make sure you received everything.

Overall I like the block.  A little disappointed in a few things:
1) I ordered the statin nickel finish and was under the impression it would match their signature block finish (I think they may have said the finishes would match at the early stages of KPE development).  That's not so much the case.  They're both silver, but my signature block is the silver they had before they started using the cerakote finish (you could only get it in silver), so they are two entirely different silvers.  If I knew this was going to be the case I would have probably went with black.
2) The finish isn't perfect.  There are drip marks here and there in the corners that are noticeable, but when the block is installed horizontally you don't see them anyway.  Vertical mount you may notice them up close.

One thing of note, I'm a little concerned when I try to pull of the back plate eventually I'm going to rip something off.  The full size thermal pad is nice in that you don't have to worry about anything, but with the mounting pressure required everything on the backplate is going to be smooshed into the thermal pad.  Going to be some stickage, so just going to have to be careful.

LOL. I had my machine sitting next to a window here in KS a while ago and had to keep closing the window more to keep the water above 0C! (distilled plus additive). Broke 16k with my turd 2x8pin Zotac. (1kw bios of course)
