-Super lame that they bundled the 1600 P2 when the 1600 T2 is the same sale price right now, could have at least forced us the best PSU they sell w/ the best GPU they sell
-Looks like I'll probably get notified next week anyway, everyone here is turning down their que and little to no traffic so seems like no one is interested

Fwiw my score is 150ish and I’d guess all the notis went to people with much higher scores. Did everyone buy when they were notified? My guess is no chance. And with the holiday weekend any passes wouldn’t appear until maybe Monday but more likely Tuesday earliest.

I'm just happy it didn't include the P+ like the FTW3 combo. Apparently those have awful coil whine after about 300w. Probably not much difference between the P2 and T2 after all. Is there a silicon lottery when it comes to PSU efficiency? Could a P2 be a T2 that doesn't quite cut the mustard on the efficiency curve?

Have a 1300 P+ in my daily (5950X) no coil whine issues. Wonder if that’s a newer rev issue? Mine was launch rev but tbh no idea if they changed anything

Maybe it's just the 1600w P+ but I've seen a lot of people complain on Reddit and this forum about loud coil whine on the P+.

It's based off of EVGA score and if you've purchased a 30 series GPU through the queue before. If you have then you're deprioritized until others in your EVGA score tier have already purchased. The 3080 12gb and I'm assuming this launch had an exemption of this rule if your score was in the top 300. I'm assuming this because I also received my notification at 1:53 est and have already purchased several 30 series cards through the queue for myself and friends and family members. Date and time is only used as a tie breaker.

Edit: or maybe there wasn't an exemption and the people who were notified first (around noon est iirc) were the very few in the top tier of evga score who hadn't already purchased in the queue and then those in the tier who had purchased through the queue got emails later. I'm just now realizing that the deprioritization is only to the end of your particular tier and not the entire queue so if you're in a higher tier and already purchased a card it looks like you would still get your notification email before the next tier would.
