I have a 360 rad for my CPU venting out the top of my Phanteks Evolv X already.  Should be fine with the KP front mounted intake rad ya?  Or any suggestions?

That sounds like a solid setup to me. There are people who would say that radiator fans should always be setup as intake fans to avoid blowing warm air over the radiator, but almost all case designs that I have seen suggest using the front and bottom as intake while using the top and back of the case as exhaust since heat rises. Otherwise your case fills up with lots of hot air quickly, and too much static pressure is created which may prevent air from recirculating quickly enough.

I’ll be using essentially the same setup as yours with just the CPU and GPU rads swapped.

If I had a KP, I would do it the same way: CPU rad on top exhaust and GPU rad in front (intake).  My only question is if a GPU is likely to run a little hotter than the CPU, would it make any material difference for the CPU rad to be on the intake and the GPU RAD exhausting out the top?  I've never tested this...but then again I've never had a GPU the quality of a KP....

Depending on your water temperature and case setup, it might actually be better to have your top radiator acting as an intake, to blow (relatively) cooler air directly on the back of the card to help keep the VRAM temps in check.

anyone know if we can use different fans or if we'll need to throw halos on the EVGA ones?

In my custom loop it goes: distroplate - gpu - top rad - cpu - front rad with double fans - back to distro. I kind of like the idea youre saying since the gpu is definitely colder than the small sun that is the 9900 but the loop would've been a little wonky in my case. sadly the hybrid will throw my setup off until optimus rolls around (or EVGA releases one on to put on ourselves)

I bought three red LED 120mm Corsair fans to swap out the EVGA fans on the radiator. My case theme is red and I’m one of probably two people on Earth who actually wishes there were red heat sinks on the KPE. But I digress lol. The fans on the 2080 TI KPE were swappable so I’d assume these will be, as well.

You can swap the fans on the upcoming Hybrid, you should be able to do so for the KP.

They are standard 120mm finger cutters. Make sure you replace with equal or higher performance.

I was just having a Discord conversation about that.  Imagine all the grief and heartache that could have been avoided....
