Port Royal takes 2 minutes

I'm more interested in what the power limit is set to with the various bios it came with.

LN2 bios only has a power limit of 516W.  I assume they'll release an XOC bios at some point.

Thanks for looking.  Dang, that's a bit of a bummer though.  I was kinda expecting 550w or so just to keep it ahead of the FTW3.  I don't think there is currently a better option either unless Galax has released an XOC bios.  All I've seen is the same 516w limit from Galax though.  Asus bios probably doesn't work since it's a single connector card.

If you're talking the 3090 KP, there is a 1000W VBios. I got mine from Vince but there is one on Tech power up's website. With the 1000W vbios and classified tool i gained 152 points on port royal. Card was pulling about 580 watts. Some parts of the port royal run it hit 597 watts.

Here is the link to TechPowerUp for EVGA 3090 VBIOS

Looks like she blows doors! If only you could get the LCDs to sync up...oh and some wire management. Congrats!

I don't think this is true. However, if you need to submit a warranty claim/RMA, you definitely need to restore the stock vbios to all positions before sending it back. If you send it in with the 1000w flashed, or with the cooler removed, or modified in any way, they will generally refuse to approve the RMA/claim. YMMV as always, EVGA has made exceptions for folks in the past and through various channels. But this is my understanding. If you install a water block, for example, you need to reinstall the stock cooler that shipped w the card to RMA it.

So if you plan to flash a diff bios to any card, always save the stock bios off first.
