LG has come with its new gaming monitor, LG UltraGear 27GN800-B having a Nano IPS panel. This monitor covers 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut and also features 1ms of response time, 1000:1 contrast ration, and 350 nits of brightness. LG manufactures its own IPS panel, and in the LG 27GN800, they are using the IPS-10 bit panel. It offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The recent scenario says that the monitors of 244 Hz refresh rates are in the high craze, but that costs too much. For those gamers who can not afford a 244Hz monitor, LG here offers them a great investment.

The monitor has two HDMI ports, a 3.5 mm audio-out jack, and one Display port. Vertically and horizontally, the viewing angle is 178 degrees. The product comes with a matte coat finishing, which makes the monitor so attractive. It also supports a 100×100 VESA mount. Now the most interesting feature comes with support for both the G-SYNC compatibility and FreeSync Premium badge. There is no difference between G-SYNC and FreeSync fundamentally. G-SYNC is of NVIDIA, and FreeSync is of AMD, and it syncs the monitor with the GPU and lets it control the refresh rate continuously. This feature will attract gamers to this LG monitor. This monitor has an effective stand, which will allow us to adjust the tilt of the screen. Also, there is an option if you want to hang the monitor on the wall. Still, there isn’t any confirmation from the company that the product will be tagged how much cost, but we expect the monitor will be available in the market by December.

I really like the back design of this monitor.

Nothing innovative in this screen itself but happy to see LG entering the PC gaming market. I trust them much more than Asus or Acer.
