I'm not sure if this is normal but precision is showing my 3080 at almost max memory usage (9543mb) while playing warzone.  Has anyone else had similar results?  This is for the FTW Ultra

to be honest I'm just not familiar with precision so with all the monitoring options I didn't know if that was the same as GPU usage.  Warzone says it will use 6000mb so I didn't know if it was showing correctly.  I'm guessing by your response it is lol

Precision, afterburner etc all show memory allocation, not what's being used. The games just reserving that much, and the actual usage is often quite a bit lower.

Everything maxed at 4K, after a Battle Royale training session I was seeing 17.3 gigs of VRAM used (and over 17 for regular RAM). Edit: I should note that it started a lot lower (around 7 gigs) and kept on creeping up to that 17.3 number at the end.

Install this file for afterburner and it'll give you a better indication of what's being used. From what I'm told actual usage is nearly impossible to work out, but that's much closer than allocation.
