Hi guys, I recently got my 3090 ftw3. The card all stock with its hitting around 85c/87c again everything is stock. While playing the fans of the card are constantly at 90%. Is that normal ?

No, but not knowing any computer specs (especially what case you have, what fan setup / airflow / ambient temperature) we can't help much.

Standard answer knowing nothing of what your setup is: take the side of your case off. If temperatures improve a lot, you have an airflow problem.

I got mine yesterday and having the same issue,  there is allot of hot air coming out of the fins, it maybe too close from your tempered glass panel.  I have an evga DG-87 case. I may have to try
a vertical setup.

Cheers!

My 3090 FTW3 Ultra runs around 70C on the OC VBIOS (more aggressive fans).

However, my case is massive and has tons of fans sucking in cool air - including two 180mm fans on the side of the case blowing cool air right onto the GPU.

I suggest, again, removing the side of your case to see if that improves your GPU temperature. If it does, your case needs more airflow. I go for positive pressure since it's easy, but that's just me and I don't mind dusting.

Hmm that is concerning as I have the same DG-87 case as well.
I know with my 2080 Ti FTW3 I never see GPU temps get over 65c.
