I was just playing total warhammer2 when all my monitors went out and I saw my GPU not lighting up. I've rebooted and re done my connections, still will not light up, just a single red light by the power cables. Has my card bought the farm?

If you have your old GPU to test I would do that to make sure. Try that 3080 on another PSU if possible or friends computer. I just got my FTW Ultra and I sure hope it stays awesome because it slays

Oh wow... this just happened to my 3090.
Are all our cards gonna be bricked here shortly?

Have you installed PX1 and tried to flash the firmware? Of course this would take a secondary video card or on board video to do. If this doesn't work I would contact support and see if they have any other tips.

Yep, my 3090 cut out and had the single red light as well. I called customer service, and they immediately RMA'd it. This is beginning to sound like a trend... it appears a significant number of 3080 and 3090 cards are showing this behavior. I am hoping it just appears more common than it really is, because of confirmation bias due to these forums.

I will say EVGA has incredible customer service, there was no grief when I called...they just said sorry and RMA'd the card. Other tech companies could learn a thing or two from EVGA.

EDIT: Just to note... I have an 850w Corsair Platinum Power Supply, so I doubt that was the issue.

Hmm. this is not a software, its hardware related issue. I remember 1080Tis when some parts were getting burned and EVGA speculated thicker thermal pads and they were even sending thermal pads to customers, but this was no thermal pad issue. I hope this is going to be properly fixed before gets to me

Been on ebay for 13 years. That would automatically be a sellers problem. Ebay buyer return fraud is rampant. Regardless of seller return policy, or ebay policies.

Per topic. For all of those thinking this is going to be a widespread issue, slow your roll. People with issues are the loudest. It's not representative of the whole.
