I'm looking into going custom loop from my current AIO CPU (CLC240 CPU on delidded 8700k) & 2080ti FTW3 Hybrid setup; primarily because I like the looks.   Does anyone know if a full sized block for an air cooled 2080ti FTW3 work on the hybrid with the AIO cooler removed?
 
 

Yes it should work ... Check with WB maker & check the Part number ... Hybrid cooled cards come withe the cooler attached .. same basic cards ... with that said there were some variables if the Cards part number changes ... mostly Type of design (those with the heat sensors vs those without) & revisions including Guaranteed MHz
 
Web search for reviews with Good photos of your Card & Cards that are listed as compatible with the WB .. if your is not
 
Check that components are in the same location ... especially the fan or LED headers as they do stick up & block cover needs the correct clearance

I know that feeling.  I'm planning on going 3080 Hydro Copper... although the siren song of the 3090 does intrude every so often. :p
