So with these new Resizeable Bar VBIOS, if we currently have the 450Watt XOC BIOS for the EVGA RTX 3080FTW3 Ultra already installed, will PrecisionX1 update your GPU to the newest version of the XOC BIOS with ReBar? Or do we still need to wait for them to release a separate update in order to get an updated version of the 450Watt XOC VBIOS for the FTW3 Ultra that includes ReBar support? Thanks in advance.

According to Jacob when responding to a question on Twitter, If you have the 450w vBIOS installed, Precision will flash the new Re-Bar Support vBIOS, with the 450w Power Limit intact. I haven't tried it myself, but that is what he has said a few times now, so I don't doubt that its true.

For those of you who are like me and prefer not to install Precision on their system, @kevinc313 Posted The FTW3 Ultra 3080 w/ Re-BAR Support & 450w vBIOS Links, direct from EVGA's Website, a few posts up. I just flashed, and so far its working perfectly.

Great! Thanks for your help. I'll try flashing the one @kevinc313 posted above.

I had the 320w Galaxy bios on my ftw3 ultra, I was just testing it for the re sizable bar support, and then saw this new 450w bios, I've not noticed much difference in games tbh, with bar support enabled I was getting slightly less fps, don't know why. If I disable bar support in bios this 450w bios seems the exact same as previous bios, I hit power limit no matter what at around 360w with this new 450w bios.

Which one did you flash? The one from Precision, or the one posted above?

Can't you just download precision, install bios, and uninstall precision??

I just did a bunch of testing on the Power Limit itself, and I see no difference in power draw between the XOC Bios released last year, and the one Posted today. I flashed the BIOS Manually from the post made by @KevinC313 earlier, and Re-BAR is definitely enabled, and I am getting the same Power Draw I was getting with the old XOC vBIOS. I rarely ever, even on the old "XOC" vBIOS, got to 450w as Measured in GPUz, but frequently get to 435w before bouncing off the Power Limit. (However, if you measure with an Actual Current Clamp, and assume that the PCIe Bus is drawing at least 55w During Load, then You will see that the Load does often hit 450w.)

I have not tested the version installed with Precision, but the one posted above definitely gives you the 450w Power Draw Limit, and the Re-BAR Support.

Its a tiny bit more involved than that, but yes, more or less I could. I'd rather not, and thankfully, because of this awesome community, I don't have to bother.

Afterburner and Precision do not play well together, so its often best to completely uninstall Afterburner before Installing Precision. Of course you do not have to, you could just make sure Afterburner is not running, but I have run into all types of fun Driver corruption in the past do to those 2 both being installed (Forcing me to have to boot to safe mode, run DDU and then reboot and reinstall drivers), and I just didn't want to have to deal with it. I know Precision is finally starting to become a better tool, and I will give it another chance in the future, but I just am not ready to deal with it right now.

Thank You. I did download the one you posted, and I appreciate it. It is exactly as you explained. I do not know the difference between the Hybrid and the Normal FTW3 Ultra vBios', I am sure there is some behavioral differences, so I was hoping to get the one for the FTW3 Ultra Air Cooled card. I have an Optimus Waterblock on mine, so maybe the Hybrid vBios would be beneficial if there is any Clock differences with the Hybrid vBIOS, but I assumed there was probably some kind of Fan Behavior difference or something (Which if thats all it is, would be fine because I don't have any fans hooked up to the card, but just in case was looking for basically exactly what you posted, but for the 3897 (FTW3 Ultra 3080 Air Cooled) card, or even just the ROM itself.

That said, Its possible I may have found it by searching the unverified vBios' on Tech Powerup. Figured I would try flashing in a bit, and see what happens. Would definitely prefer an official post from Jacob or one of you guys, but hey, you only live once right?

Sounds good.  Here's the 3897 versions:

3080 FTW3 Ultra...I can confirm that both of these bios's cause Fan4 (ext) to not spin up with the other fans automatically.  The only way to get Fan4 (ext) to spin up is to set a manual fan speed.  That's a big bug.  118% Power is intact.

This is the same if you take these updates from PX1.  Your posted BIOS files are identical to what you get served from EVGA.  I was able to confirm that.

I can hit 448w with this bios but it depends on what application is running, 4k Gow5 360w I hit power limit, Kombustor I hit 448w both are hitting power limit at different times,

Hi,
so they are the XOC (450W) BIOS with R-BAR for BIOS 1 (Normal) & BIOS 2 (OC=min FAN) ? Thanks! :)

yes.  They work perfectly with the 1 issue : Fan4 (ext) will not have any fan curve.  It will only activate if manually set speed in PX1.
