Are you guys still at 450w nominal max power limit with the new bios (gpu-z read)?  Any noticeable changes in power draw?

i just checked techpower up bios database and apparently this bios was submitted there in december 2020 so its NOT new....anyway everything seems like it was before. 450W max draw, idle around 100W. max fan speed 40%... I have converted HYBRID with hybrid bios

wonder if @EVGA_Jacbob  can comment on this. I was expecting new bios and not 3months old.

If on HYBRID BIOS use this update, seems error in Precision that it does not detect if HYBRID BIOS was installed. https://cdn.evga.com/bios/30Series/3898_OC_450W.zip

JACOB! You legend! This fixed my mobo issue not enabling. It was cus of the hybrid bios for some reason px1 must have given me wrong bios?

This may or may not be the 3080 FTW3 Hybrid 450w, normal switch/fans, Re-Bar bios.  Dated 3/23/21.

Hah thanks, I'm just looking for people to guinea pig them, until I get home from work and can mess with it.

Has Anyone grabbed the XOC Re-Bar vBios for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra Yet? If so, anyway you can post it? My system is highly allergic to Precision (lol), and would rather flash myself, but I haven't found the vBIOS anywhere yet. I understand making the process easy for people, so I applaud this move, I just wish the vBIOS was also posted for those of us who are comfortable flashing it ourselves, and who prefer to not have run another Utility on the PC (I prefer Afterburner, and every single time I have taken a chance on Precision it has let me down in comparison.)

I think the links I posted have NVFlash (or other flashing executable) + Bios without X1?  But I don't know for sure.  I think you can flash it, take a copy, then just flash back to what you had.

Thank You. I did download the one you posted, and I appreciate it. It is exactly as you explained. I do not know the difference between the Hybrid and the Normal FTW3 Ultra vBios', I am sure there is some behavioral differences, so I was hoping to get the one for the FTW3 Ultra Air Cooled card. I have an Optimus Waterblock on mine, so maybe the Hybrid vBios would be beneficial if there is any Clock differences with the Hybrid vBIOS, but I assumed there was probably some kind of Fan Behavior difference or something (Which if thats all it is, would be fine because I don't have any fans hooked up to the card, but just in case was looking for basically exactly what you posted, but for the 3897 (FTW3 Ultra 3080 Air Cooled) card, or even just the ROM itself.

That said, Its possible I may have found it by searching the unverified vBios' on Tech Powerup. Figured I would try flashing in a bit, and see what happens. Would definitely prefer an official post from Jacob or one of you guys, but hey, you only live once right?

So with these new Resizeable Bar VBIOS, if we currently have the 450Watt XOC BIOS for the EVGA RTX 3080FTW3 Ultra already installed, will PrecisionX1 update your GPU to the newest version of the XOC BIOS with ReBar? Or do we still need to wait for them to release a separate update in order to get an updated version of the 450Watt XOC VBIOS for the FTW3 Ultra that includes ReBar support? Thanks in advance.
