Evga has started a replacement program for 3090s with the unbalanced power draw from pcie pins and 430w cap. My 3080 ftw has the same and many others have reported same, but no aknowlegment for us yet ..

Got 4th place out of 40k results in Timespy for the 5600x/3080 combo globally with this bios. I did convert to a hybrid though. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 video card benchmark result - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7C84) (3dmark.com)

So you converted to Hybrid and use XOC Hybrid bios? I have FTW3 Ultra with XOC 450w bios but also capped at 400W still as many. I ran Kombustor for half an hour and see average 395W draw. PICE: 47W, 8-pin1: 129W, 8-pin2: 148W, 8-pin3: 70W. Constantly GPU-Z tells me powerlimit PerfCap reason. So is this low 8-pin3 power due to the card or due to the bios? Or is is possible PSU related? I have Fractal Design 860w platinum.

So will they auto update to newer versions once installed? Or do i need to check back here for updates? And are the ones linked in the first post the current versions?

Since I am still toying with my hybrid card and seeing OC potential I spent some time today and was able to get over 118% TDP and the 450W.  Probably somehow the perfect storm.  I was just running MSI Kombustor using the (GL) msi-01 (burn-in mode) Stress test.  It wasn't stable at these speeds but got the juice it needed. Made in Taiwan serial starting with 2114 using "EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 HYBRID - BIOS 1 (Normal)" from OP.

Just put +699 on the mem and +180 on the core, voltage/power sliders maxed out. Oh and 100% fans.. not sure if that mattered somehow. (maybe could have turned off the lights for more juice?) Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ since the hardware looks capable hopefully more XOC bios tweaks can do something although this issue sounds more hardware related.

Board Power Draw: 451.5W
PCIe Slot Power: 58.5W
8-Pin #1 Power: 143.4W
8-Pin #2 Power: 154.0W
8-Pin #3 Power: 96.8W
Power Consumption (%): 118.8 TDP

I´m gone since page 14/30.

Are there any news or even an answer from EVGA ?
My status is still that this "beta" bios doesn´t do anything.

Nope. EVGA haven't done or even really aknowledged anything.

I'm still gaming seeing my "power limit" pop up from 350w...

well this is my first EVGA card and most likely last. People here on the forum are excellent and helpful, but EVGA as a company lack a proper communication. There is no update for almost 6months now, I am happy that Jacob is playing DOOM Eternal but maybe provide an update here? Cards were NOT cheap and some update like: "We are working on it, ETA 3weeks" or anything like that would be nice.
