There is definitely a serious issue with this card. You really have to try to get it to draw 450w.... Evga screwed up something on this card. There is no way you are going to actually get 118% power draw... I get small spikes in 440w but that's it. I don't think it's real at all...

Same here. I sometimes get spikes to 440W but it's not stable at all. Mostly around 415 or so and then goes to 400 as well. No idea what's wrong with this card.

It's got to do with pcie slot and the way the power is balanced on this card. All ftw3 cards have this issue. They won't address it either. Why buy this card over the cheaper one with 2 8pins. Total marketing bs.

I would use this EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 HYBRID. If you want to control pump from card. But since you have custom loop. You are good with standard bios.

How can I control the pump? I don't see any options in PX1.

Lol try redownloading the px1 program and reinstall. It should do an update on ur card after u flash the new bios. Or u could just get a full cover waterblock and make ur own aio system... With a 360 rad and a ddc pump.... Liquid metal reallllly helps these cards clock higher on water. U can expect 5 to 7c difference... And that's enough for a boost bin or 2...

There's another dude who recommended the msi suprim x bios. It's 430w... But it's a lot more stable than the evga beta bios.

Count yourself lucky. Mine won't draw over 390w on the 450w bios. It's ****ed

U need to get ur card colder or a waterblock. Otherwise u won't draw as much. I'm sitting at 36 to 44 max temps..... With my loop and block. 2130 to 2160 in games.... Port royal 2190 is max stable.... Timespy 2175 if I keep it under 33c.... Before I had under water max game clocks were 2085 to 2055 if I was lucky....under 60c

This only shows it's not really just about power draw, it's also about bin and silicon lottery, for example my card has power balance issues and is usually around 405w avg on 118% and I have stock air cooling, and I am boosting to 2130 sustained with +135 on gpu in Warzone, 3dmark and games etc.. The card in games is at 50 degrees.. and only drawing around 300+w.

How are you even flashing this BIOS and where do I get it. I got a problem with my card hitting 200% power on boot randomly and no solution from EVGA, MSI (my Z270 mobo for win 7 support is a joke), I'm about to RMA my 3090 FTW XC Ultra 24GB at this point. I checked my PSU, took all my other software off temporarily, removed anything with power I didn't need. Nothings working.

I think my first BIOS update failed since I didn't see it coming and I was using Windows 7 at the time. I have ran it on 10, same issue.

Someone mind pointing me in the right direction? Anyone ever hear or see anything like this?

If I don't get this issues while booting up, i can stress test it or benchmark it to hell and back fine...but when i do, if I don't shut down, windows will.
