Anyone tried EKWB block on 3080 FTW3 Ultra, how the block performs with 1x360 mm and 2 x360 mm radiator loops (CPU included).
is there a watercooling thread about GPU blocks on EVGA?

I have the alphacool, with a 10900k in the loop at 5.3ghz.... 2 360 rads... I'm usually below 38c on my gpu after 2 hrs gaming.... I overclocked the card 2160 to 2145 and +1125 memory.... Ek block should net the same results.

Small question, do I understand this correctly that I can flash XOC beta on my OC bios switch, and still keep the stock on the normal one? So basically I can have both stock and XOC swappable by a switch right? Is there any significant problems associated because of having tried the XOC?

Yes that's totally fine. Basically u only need one bios. It's good if u want to flash another but evga didn't even give us a true xoc bios. It's 450w.... The 3090 guys can at least flash kingpin and get 1000w..... 450 max stable is 2190. I've hit 2120 and 2205 but for some reason it won't use the whole 450 watts. As soon as pcie is at 75watts it limits the whole card. Evga really limited their cards

Max I seen on my PCIE slot is 50w. IS that normal? I am not sure why it doesn't go higher.

It's by design for it to do that. Mine does the same it will hit 50 and it will power cap card. I'm thinking if u shunt pcie slot u can get about 25 30 more watts..... Idk if anyone here has done that.

what are your temps (delta K to water) for the memory and power? I am considering the alphacool due to better availability, but when I am not gaming I am mining ether, which is hard on memory usage.

I've got a 9900KF @ 5.1/5.0 AVX (Wanted lower voltage 1.245v), 3080 FTW3 1100mv 2115-2100mhz + 800 Mem.
1XPE360 and 1X SE360 (Wish it was another PE) with Arctic P12's in push mostly maxing out around 1350RPM to keep the noise down in a Phantex Evolve x case.

Water temp is typically 38-40C after a few hours of gaming. I couldn't tell you the room temperature, but its summer here in AUS, so i'd guess 25-28c at night?

Delta to water temp with Kyronaut is roughly 8-12c, but it depends on the wattage at the time.. Highest i've seen it is 52c core temp with a water temp of 40c on the MSI bios.

Currently considering Liquid metal to try and bring them closer together.

For some reason the XOC bios doesn't even work for me. I switched to OC bios and installed it the way it says on the main page here, I checked GPU-Z, set power limit to max in MSI or X1 and run Unigine Heaven, the power is just stuck at 330 or so no matter what I do. Using Corsair HX1000i with 3 separate cables (not daisy chain)

Any idea what could be causing this? I hope the card isn't broken because it has 0 coil whine even at very high FPS.

Room temp is about 68 to 70c....
My water temps last night were around 32c, my max temp on my card core was 38. Memory hovered in 44 to 48..... Power is around 50..... Gpu2 temp is around 48.... I was going to buy ekwb. But I've not been happy with them lately. Alphacool I bought because it was available and cheap. But to be honest it's a damn good block. I'd be surprised if ek was any better.

Thanks rahimdamji29 and Drwaffles for the temps!

The price of the alphacool block is pretty compelling, and I even like the look. It does not look cheap compared to other blocks (at least on the photos) and in German shops they claim to be available again this week. I hope that date is not just a placeholder that will be pushed back.

The ek block is not in stock in Germany until April afaik, and watercool.de is planning a ftw3 3080 block, but their release date is "when it's done". Also, it's a SEO nightmare to find something about them with their name "watercool", and I think they closed their forums.

So I am very tempted to just get the alphacool and be done with it...

Just get the alphacool. It's prob one of the best quality blocks I've seen. It really impressed me. Also the thermal pads are cut to size for you and simple to install. The hardest part was cleaning all the crud off the stock cooler
