im abit stumped with this bios. my highest score i can get in 3dmark timespy is 18419 to work is 1115 memory and 115 core with the 3080 ultra ftw3 oc bios. i was trying to get a 19k score but doesnt seem possible with x1 software. any suggestions?

18419 isn't bad
+136 clk +1180 mem best i can do in timespy 18989, its DX 12 and part of the score is CPU and an I9 9900k @5ghz is what drops my score . I had thought I got a 19k with my air card but I might be dreaming, maybe Graphics part was 19k...idk.

Has anyone had an issue with going back to the normal BIOS with the switch and it still showing a 118% power target max with the slider? I even flashed the normal bios back and I still see 118% max.

well its not pulling over 120w from 1200w power supply even when set in evga x1 to go higher.... might try to run each pcie connector off its own connector. i doubt it be the problem though because its like commercial grade brick ****house...

I don't know why you would want to, It is just a slider, if it goes to 105 or 118 the card is going to do what you set it, if the slider is at 100 , it will run @ default, I have this Bios and have created 2 settings that are power conservation modes that I can run @ 330W and 318w for games that stay pinned at 144hz and do not need any extra power so my room doesn't heat up so much in long gaming ordeals.

I know what the slider does. I was troubleshooting some funky clock issues with the OC BIOS and noticed that the power target was still able to be set to 118% after putting the switch back to normal bios and reflashing the normal BIOS. I was thinking my switch might have been bad since it did not change anything when I went back into Precision after going to normal BIOS. It is not a problem for me as I have another 3080 here I can test with while I wait for my 3090 Step Up for this card even if it does have an issue.

Don't normally post here but thought I'd share this....

3080 ftw3 on air with 5950x on water. All ambient, no chillers, rig inside the house. Looking forward to a water block arriving! Thank you EVGA!

I got 19600 pt GPU score with 9900K, no watercooling. All air cooled. Cannot understand those that can't get 450W on the GPU, mine reaches that easily, it would go over, have seen 464W momentarily.
TS Extreme GPU score about 9800 pt. GPU EVGA 3080FTW3 Ultra.

So some more info would be much appreciated. Which game or benchmark is is pulling these watts, what is the sustained clockspeed at that time and did you only flash the bios or also have an overclock? If OC, just +mhz offset, or specific clock/mV curve philosophy. I can manage 19400 TimeSpy graphic score, but thats not stable in half of the games (when it tries to boost over 2100mhz). Its pulling around 400w then.
