Remember that the tuff is 1740mhz (or 1780 OC model) boost clock, the FTW3 Ultra is 1800 MHz and has a higher power limit..
Need to look at the end frequency and power draw, not the offset in Afterburner.

It'll still outperform the tuff even at lower clocks once it's gone past the power limit of the tuff.

Only one question, is safe keep the core voltage at 100% in afterburner?
thank u so much.

Don't normally post here but thought I'd share this....

3080 ftw3 on air with 5950x on water. All ambient, no chillers, rig inside the house. Looking forward to a water block arriving! Thank you EVGA!

Can we please get the original BIOS linked in this thread so we can revert?  The 3090 thread has this, but the 3080 doesn't.

I'm still waiting on a verified original BIOS from EVGA as well.

I would also like to get my hands on these BIOS as TPU doesn't show which is for Normal mode and OC mode and I'm not experienced enough to take my chances.  Thanks in advance!

EVGA cover overclocking under warranty anyway.
I set my voltage to 80% but set the temp limit to 65 until my waterblock arrives.

As for long term reliability, I personally think temps are a bigger issue than voltage.. But over the course of 3+years who knows, it's a brand new chip.

hello, you know if its safe put the core voltage in afterburner at 100%?
thanks in advance!

Would love to see a similar "BIOS that increases the maximum Power Target" for the 3070 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 08G-P5-3767-KR. In the past I upgraded a 2060 Super with a BIOS provided by Jacob, and it lifted it's 175w limit to 215~220w, with great results.

Just flashed this 450w bios, but not really any improvement. I can't get the card to use over 400w in any benchmark. All sliders maxed out. It doesnt seem to use the max voltage most of the time either. I know the mhz limit is around 2115, if it goes to/over 2130 it crashes. It does go over 1050mV (upto 1093mV) on rare occasions. But it usually hovers around 2055-2070 mhz @ 1012-1050mV @ 370-390watt or so. Any reason it is not using max power? Temps roughly 65°C. 3440x1440 resolution. Or any benchmarks / tips to make it use the full 450w? Flash is confirmed in GPU_Z, but I am not even sure everything is ok, as I have never seen it over 400w basically. Using MSI Afterburner with the voltage slider working.

Can someone please clean up the bios versions?
Wich version goes where, and what does it do?
Are there changelogs somewhere?
Were the 1st post bioses updated ever?
Are there updated normal bioses, or just XOC?
Some sites and forums have bios files flying around, where no one can know what they are, and where they belong.

For example what i found:
94.02.26.80.70 - my 3080 FTW3 Ultra, stock normal bios.
94.02.26.48.68 - ?
94.02.26.48.AE - ?
Even EVGA support sent me some for trying, where the version can not be seen anywhere (until i flash it i guess). But they wont tell me, if its the same as XOC or not.
