That's with it locked at 1.1V and clocking 2,235-2,265mhz sustained for GPU1 and GPU2 tests, the average is skewed by the CPU test down clocking the gpu to 1,800mhz.  Power solidly above 400w, but not riding the 450w limiter, just tapping it.  Being outside in ~0 degree (C) temps helps with the power consumption I think, card started at about 20C and ended at 26C. Timespy is a light load for this card.

I've seen a peak of 485w in Furmark at normal ambient temps.

Thats a madman's score.  nice!

Those temps under 30c are the key to keeping your clocks up above 2200mhz.  Your mem oc is undoable on air for sure.

I am settled into my 24\7 settings at :

+180 core
+600mem
full power\volt sliders
silent under 40c and sharp\aggressive curve to 80%fans at 70c

This setting gives me great VR in PCars2 and Starwars Squadrons.  I haven't even pancake gamed with this 3080 yet lol.

Can we please get the original BIOS linked in this thread so we can revert?  The 3090 thread has this, but the 3080 doesn't.

I'm still waiting on a verified original BIOS from EVGA as well.

The XOC bios only adds the extra power if you explicitly run PX1 or AB and set it to +118 power.  If you don't set that in PX1 or AB you will get default bios power limit of 380W and the card will perform the same as stock\OC bios.

What are you hoping to gain from the default bios?  just wondering.
I’m running the OC bios with PX1 and I set it to 110 power, 115 and 118 I’m
Getting worse 3D Mark scores with the beta bios. I’m getting worse gaming performance as well.

Haha thanks. I can't run +180 stably on normal ambient temps like you can, at least without locking voltage.  Could not push it any higher than the 2303 / 1.1v point, it would crash.  The mem OC seemed to be helping scores, tried +700, +900 and were lower, normally would run +1000.

My memory OC is +1200 On air stable after long gaming sessions. If I lower the OC my time spy score gos down. How is that I can go so high on air? I got some magic memory? 😁

Hi, i had this 450w bios on my Ftw3 Ultra but i sold it and got myself 3080 Suprim X. Can i put this 450w bios to that gpu?

With the 450w BIOS I can get my clocks to 2115Mhz on air stable. I dont know how that compares to most 3080s.

Yes that is top tier for the FTW3 Ultra on XOC bios.  We are all seeing similar oc's as you.

Well so far my best score with my stock cooled 3080 FTW3 Ultra in Time Spy was 18544 and a 12585 in Port Royal. Only open case/open window, no additional fans other than my case fans. I imagine it would be even better if I moved the case outside, though I'm waiting to get what I need to do a shunt mod first. Hoping to blow away a few more 3090s. I will also be sticking an EK water block on it, which should be shipping early in the new year :D

Anyone had any issues with sub 850w power supplies? I'm waiting for my back-order to arrive and I'm planning on trying the bios since I will be putting the card in a custom loop eventually. Just wondering since my power supply is a Fractal design 760P.
