I have and it pops up that the card/model (don’t remember exact wording) is not compatible. Must be because it responds with a slightly different model number even though it’s just a FTW3 Ultra like you said. Just need the model check modified.

Before flashing this BIOS you can make a backup of your original BIOS using GPU-Z. You'll need to do this two times to save dual BIOS (both BIOSes when flipping switch).

Techpowerup bios collection download the 3080 ftw3 ultra bios, Nvidia.exe -6 -p (Rom Name) flash that bios. Restart and then do the update, remember to save your old bios you can use gpuz to save it.

If you don't have a bios switch don't do it, it shouldn't brick your card but who knows..

Does the use of these new BIOS files affect the EVGA warrenty?

Basically, Jacob doesn't suggesting trying to flash a 3898 BIOS to a 3897 or 3895 card, because the IDs don't match and the fan configuration is different.  Of course, I wonder what 3897/3895 owners that install Hybrid kits will be expected to do, as it will be identified as the air cooled card but will have AIO, etc

Same here. I can push it to 185 mhz on my FTW Ultra 3080, but the stable sweetspot seems to be a ~135-145 mhz uplift.  My FE is a much better binned GPU and easily walks all over my EVGA card. :/

What was your record on your FE @hartmanjasonm?

Not the person you're asking but here is a 3080 FE with a GPU score nearing 19000 in timespy.

What power wattage does the bios for the 3080 FTW3 ultra go to?

And if I stick with the air cooler, will I hit the thermal limit and throttle the boost clocks before hitting the watt limit?

And does this void the warranty?

Also, I know 850 watt psu is recommended with this. But unofficially, will I be ok with a 750 watt PSU. I know this is at my risk, but how does this look?

Seasonic Prime Ultra 750 watt titanium
AMD 3700x at stock
X570 Asrock Taichi motherboard
16gb ram
3 ssd/nvme
5 hard drives

Lot of misinformed people here.

If u want your 3090 to draw close to TDP ( 500W) make voltage 1.100mV and +1000 memory.

Also you may lost silicon lottery aswell. No need to cry.

My 400W bios 3080 FTW peaking 407W and scored 12.6K on port royal for example

The issue it that the PCIE drawls more power cause the the card to throttle.
