This thread is about an entirely different card (RTX 3080).  Your card (RTX 3080 12GB) already has its XOC BIOS flashed to it from the factory.

And what do I do if I had FastBoot on (didn't know this could mess up a GPU BIOS) and PX1 installed a new BIOS at startup that tanked my FPS?

Px1 don't install card bios.. only firmware (mcu??) That will happen everytime ya change bios in the card

Px1 can install mcu firmware & vbios. Fast boot won’t mess up a gpu vbios, but it can make the new vbios hard to detect, and can require several reboots before it finally shows up after flashing.

just fitted my 3080 ftw3 ultra lhr :) i have tried to update to the 450w as mine is only 400w and this is the message i get

Why can't we flash our 3080 LHRs?!?!

we can update lhr :) i found the thread with the lhr bios, but however the lhr cards seem to suffer from not so good power delivery as even with the 450w bios it wont pull over 400w and that is because pin 2 is hitting its max tdp of 150w before pin 3 basically the power balancing is not working correctly :( it has not been announced by evga but this seems to be a common fault across a lot of peoples cards, seems to have been fixed on the 12gb version tho.

thank you. can you link to the bios you used? What percentage can you get in the power slider? I thought I updated my 3080 ftw3 lhr and PX1 still only shows me 105% in the power limit URFGH
