I asked Jacob and EVGA's tech support that question directly - neither said that they have that VBIOS, which leads me to believe that it's a Kingpin thing.

With that said, I too would like to see at least a 480W VBIOS for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra. Higher would be nicer, to be able to thumb my nose at those Strix OC folks.

480 W is not enough, the 3090 FTW3 would be still power-limited. A 520 W bios would be better, and respecting the PCI-e power specifications (525 W max with 3 8 pins cables).

Great bios, very stable, have tried several games and no problem. Only tested the normal one, will try tomorrow the OC one for the more aggressive fan profile..

All hail the new KING!!

This was done on air with highest temps reaching 69c for this specific test.

RIP Strix OC

What's your other specs, and what are your OC settings?

Took the wattage measurements with the new 450W bios using my Corsair HXI 850

From the PSU to the PC, NOT from the wall.
NOT OCED, just power slider on 118% in PX1.

Doesn't include power spikes.

Gaming load = 630W
MAX full system load = 715W

Tried it out, couldn't get any higher memory or core clocks but my score did go up a bit on uniengine, at this point I don't think I can push it anymore without watercooling, idle is 27c and 59c at load with 18c ambient, but tomorrow i will be able to bring ambient down to 4c so hopefully that will get a bit closer to water numbers if not a bit past them, that should allow it to boost a bit higher without being able to get more on the core or mem oc
