Hello everybody,
I have question regarding my PSU.
I read that many of you had issues with RTX 3080 and Seasonic Focus 750w Gold.
Unfortunately I have same PSU and now I'm worried because of shutdowns you were mentioning.
My PSU is about 6 months old and I'm afraid that it may shutdown my PC while playing very graphics intense games.
Here are my full PC specs:
Desktop:OS:Windows 10 x64
-------------------------------------------------------
Monitor:LG 27UD58-B
-------------------------------------------------------
CPU:Intel i7 10700KF
-------------------------------------------------------
CPU Cooler:Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360
-------------------------------------------------------
MBO:MSI MAG Z490 Tomahawk
-------------------------------------------------------
GPU:EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA GAMING
-------------------------------------------------------
HDD:1 TB WD Blue
-------------------------------------------------------
RAM:2X8 RAM Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz
-------------------------------------------------------
PSU:Seasonic FOCUS 750 Gold
-------------------------------------------------------
Case:SilentiumPC Signum SG7V EVO TG ARGB
-------------------------------------------------------
I have connected my PSU with my RTX 3080 via 2x PCIE cables, but I was thinking if ordering another third party/universal PCIE cable would help?
That way I would have 3x separate PCIE cables in my GPU (I'm not sure if universal PCIE cable would work although being universal).
Also,I haven't been playing anything yet,but I ran OCCT stress test for PSU for 5 hours SSE and it passed.
