Also note that we have updated the product pictures at EVGA.com to reflect the production components that shipped to gamers and enthusiasts since day 1 of product launch.
Once you receive the card you can compare for yourself, EVGA stands behind its products!

Thanks

The Ultra versions of the FTW3 3080 and 3090 still show the old picture.

one...which may not be good enough. Remember...they are mum about other cards...only talk about the good, dont address the bad... PR 101.

U guys knew about this issue weeks, if not months ago...and you are all coming out of the closet now...ONLY BECAUSE OF INDEPENDENT REPORTING. This is not how u build trust...

Their cards don't have the issue.. nothing to come clean about. They aren't involved in other cards manufacturing

Yup, apparently some people have reading comprehension issues.

I'm dumb.  How many of the good squares out of six does the XC3 Ultra have?

2/6 have the "good" MLCC squares.

It is nowhere proven that more --> all six would be better, a combination of both might be perfectly fine and balanced.... Jacob said they tested it and now made 2 in it, so I trust them that 2 are enough

If their cards "don't" have issues, then what's been widely reported as the crashing problem being specifically due to the POSCAPs (which includes a large portion of the 4+20 cards) is completely inaccurate.  Either the EVGA cards do suffer the exact same problem, but not enough people have them yet for there to have been a widespread problem, or the initial theory is wrong.  Or I suppose EVGA is the outlier with their hardware supplier, and they are having custom POSCAPs and MLCCs that are not in any of the other cards...
