I had a chance to get the Asus and Gigabyte cards but I chose to wait for the 3080 FTW3. Hope I can get my hand on one soon.

I wonder if some of the other partners were aware of the capacitor issue and chose to ship at launch anyway?

I hope that we can still expect a ramp up in production for October / November.

It's too bad EVGA doesn't make AMD video cards. I wouldn't hesitate getting a Big Navi made by EVGA (if the leaks are as good as they say.)

Just so happens I have always bought EVGA and have never ever had 1 quit on me going back to 9800's thats why I buy EVGA and I'm not a fanboy I go with what works at reasonable price for what it is. Nvidia is insane with $1500 3090 wouldn't buy it even if I had $1500. But if someone has $1500 to blow on it sure why not it's your money.
