Thanks for all the tips here. Super helpful. Wondering if anyone can help with my issue. I’m able to achieve 4k@120 htz on my CX but when I restart my computer it defaults to a 1080p resolution every time. I have to manually change the resolution each time. I always hit save. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I got my 3080 black running on 55 c9 at 4K 120 hz with gsync today looks awesome. I used the 6 ft 8k monoprice referenced here. I bought this c9 in March 19 waiting for hdmi 2.1 and 3800 runs very good. Long wait but worth it.

Question- is anyone worried about screen burn in? I have a Acer 43 va120hz panel which is very good but oled is better just worried about static icons burning in.

I have a LG OLED B6 that is used as the family room TV that was purchased back in 2016. There is a good amount of burn in. That tv is mainly used for movies and light gaming.

Now that I'm using a CX as a pc monitor I'm scared to death that I'll get burn in. So I normally leave it off and use my two ultra wide monitors as my daily drivers. My CX only gets turned on when I'm playing a game. I'm hoping that doing this will minimize any chance of burn in.

My CX hasn't had any issues so far. It stays at 4k 120hz. I only use it for my racing sim setup though.

Anyone update to the 3.11.30 firmware? It's supposed to fix the gsync stuttering issues.

Ok, don't upgrade! I upgraded to 3.11.30 and now I get hitching about every 30 seconds when gsync is enabled. If I turn gsync off I don't get the hitching. This is extremely frustrating as there is no way to downgrade the firmware...

I upgraded to 3.11.30 couple weeks ago because COD cold war was stuttering at high fps and it completely fixed the problem.  The driver currently seem to only work for US model and KR of course

I found the "problem". I have two ultrawide monitors (3440x1440) plus my LG 48CX plugged into my PC. If I unplug both ultrawide monitors and only leave the LG 48CX plugged into the PC then the hitching goes away. I didn't have to do that with the previous version of LG firmware I was on... How dumb is that?

Note that one ultrawide is 60 hz non-VRR and the other is 144 hz g-sync. I tried only unplugging the 60 hz non-VRR monitor but then I would only get a picture on the 144 hz g-sync ultrawide, no picture on the LG 48CX. So I'm stuck at unplugging both ultrawide monitors to get a smooth gaming experience on my LG 48CX... Not a huge deal I suppose, but kind of a pain.
