I'm using this 25ft fiber cable as my PC is quite a length away from my LG CX 55 @ 120 Hz with HDR on and no full RGB and it works fine with my RTX 3090

Dang, I need at least 30 feet, although I'm tempted to pick up a 50 foot one as it's still way cheaper than the 30 foot monoprice cable I bought.

I meant "full RGB" in that post, dunno why I put "no" there

Do you have to disable "Instance Game Response Mode" and enable all the time to get gsync to work? I have to do this every time before I play a game or the TV flickers and gsync stops working.

03.11.26. I got it from LG's website before they swapped it with 03.11.25. Works fine with VRR on my Series X too.

I ordered the 50 foot cable. I'll report back after I get it to share my findings. Thanks for the heads up on this!

Anyone try using custom resolution but only getting 8bit and not 10 bit as an option?  Native 4k resolution 10 bit is fine but if I do 3840x1850 it only flickers and goes back to 8bit

Hi Naur1,  what cable are you using?  the common side effects of a cable limited by bandwidth are only 10-bit not available, no 120hz option, or 120hz won't actually stick when applying and reverts to 60hz, no option for 4:4:4. or not getting working results on these higher settings.  it appears the card does some sort of sensing of the display/cable and limits the options.

I don't really have a way to test that resolution other than on my 4K, when I did I just get a blank screen.  so it could be a driver issue supporting that custom rez.

So that 50 ft Pacroban cable did not work at all.

Constant black screen flickering and no signal when it wasn't flickering. Looks like I'll be sticking with that 30 ft monoprice cable.
