I didn't start the Step-Up process until 10/15.  Probably won't see one until about February or March, but this 2070 Super is one heck of an upgrade from my old 970.  It will be more than enough to get me through Cyberpunk 2077.

Yeah upgraded from a 1080 to a 2070 Super for 1440p gaming and things feel a lot smoother! Got in line around 10/3

Out of curiosity, how long have prior step ups taken to fill with other new release cards? Also, any chance people think the stock will start picking up like Jacob mentioned.

It depends on demand and supply.

I would think at this point its more about manufacturing capacity and quality control. They already know the demand is there, it's just all about getting that supply in the pipeline.

Stock/supply has supposedly been going to increase "every week" since literally launch day. 5 weeks later, I don’t see any increases.

Literally NO progress this week in step up! and Jacob said on twitter no more stock for step up this week. This is just ridiculous and excruciatingly slow. Step up is least prioritized it seems

dude no other company has this stop complaining and wait for your turn. be glad evga even has this program.

Is there anyone concerned about the resale value of the RTX 3080 cards?  I just watched the latest video from Moore's Law is Dead and it is looking very likely that AMD's Big Navi (6800xt) is going to dominate 3080 in rasterization performance while achieving similar ray-tracing performance as 2080 Ti.  Also Big Navi comes with more VRAM (16 GB) as well.  I have a feeling Nvidia is getting surprised (and shocked) by these developments...

Until we see actual real gaming benchmarks we won't really know. AMD has had cards that benched great in synthetic benchmarks but fell behind in gaming before.

I'd love to see AMD be competitive again with higher end NVIDIA cards though.
