Finally got my card today 10/21. Had to move fans in my Fractal Meshify C to fit red plastic part in. 3mm off the shroud and it would have been fine. Not as heavy as I expected either.

do you have an aio in front ? i dont think my meshify c will be able to take the 3080 ftw bc i have a 360mm radiator nzxt x73

Do you have a rad in the front? I checked fractals website and said clearance would be good.  

I did I had to put the fans in the front and rad on inside. My ram does not allow for top mount rad so I rigged some small shims to extend the front mesh out a little jammed my 120,s in there. It worked out just fine.
 
I was able to get 15017 on TimeSpy with just memory clock on a 8700k. Would be easy to get much higher with a newer CPU and a healthy overclock.

I bought a 2080 super in July. The fact that I get to upgrade to a 3080 for a few dollars more is insane. I can wait a few months if I have to because with any other company I'm stuck with a 2080s permanently. And there were a few people who got to step 2 so there was some progress.

If the spreadsheet is accurate, about 6 ppl got cards this weeks... Slow but we're lucky they even have such a program

I was getting frustrated even though I told myself “it’s going to be a long wait”, then I read Jatty’s post. Yeah, a brand new 2080 super ftw3 as a placeholder is not a bad spot to be in.

What I need to focus on is being happier for people that do get their step ups, because that’s less people in front of me!

Something we all need to realize is there are more people in the step up than on that spreadsheet. For all we know there could have been 50 cards this week but only 6 are on the post or even decided to respond. If you look, there are people from even earlier on 9/17 that never responded. So take the list with a grain of salt and try to be patient. We are all going to get our cards. Remember it’s just a graphics card, not food or water.
