Hi Juicer-19, it seems both of us got the Step 1 email at exactly the same time! Hope we will be getting the same batch of cards soon.

We're getting close! I'm guessing we will see our cards by the end of the month. Looks like 2 weeks if they keep up the amount they dished out today. 

So, we're not exactly getting close. Not to burst the bubble, but I got off the phone with customer service, one of the guys that reviews the Step-Up requests, and told him about the thread and whatnot and was saying how there were about 20+ people that got to step 2 according to the thread.
 
Well, he mentioned that it's unofficial which of course, it's a "community ran" forum but he also told me that there were over 1000 requests within the first hour. So just because we see a few names that got theirs, that doesn't mean that any of us are any closer than we think but of course I'd like to stay optimistic. I got in at 10:19 AM on the release day so here's to hoping I see that step 2 within the next few weeks or so.

 
Well.. I am back to thinking this is going to be a 4 to 6 month wait for me and many of us lol.

Probably not much difference between trying to F5 all day in hopes of getting a drop to show up anyway.

Next wave of step ups just went through. For those wondering
 
Step 1 - Enter Queue (People will be on this Step the longest)
Step 2 - Took about 3 weeks for me and is a notice that they will begin processing your invoice.
Step 3 - Immediately after step 2, payment.
Step 4 - Payment confirmation and RMA number processing
Step 5 - You are given the RMA number to ship back your card.

Under Step-Up Queue it says "In Queue." Does that mean I'm in Step 2?

Or is there a another email or something else that indicates Step 2?

I have the same question , don't remember it saying in Queue before ....

So don't fret... The point of this thread isn't to count the number of cards shipped. Its just a rough estimate of how far into the queue EVGA has served. It doesn't matter if they had 1,000 requests in the first hour, what matters is they've made progress to 9:25am. We don't need all 1,000 names in this list, we just need to see how far into it we've gotten.
 
This list should be somewhat reflective of the density (relative to time) of step 1 confirmations. I highly doubt the 1000 requests the EVGA rep talked about occurred between 9:25 and your time.
 
It's also stated in the OP that this list obviously doesn't account for people who don't post on the forums, so it is unhelpful to ask EVGA reps why only ~25 people made it to step 2 and beyond.

Asking them this question was not the purpose of my call, I just brought it up because we were having a conversation about the drop. I was asking about the time frame I had to pay for the card because I needed to save a little but I’m too far into that now.

If stock only comes in once a week then it will certainly be a long wait for anyone who purchased after the first day, or even for some of those who purchased later on the first day. All we can hope for is that things pick up and we start getting inventory drops more like 2 or 3 times per week. That will be the difference between waiting 4 to 6 months, and only 2 or 3 months.

It's also possible that some people may drop out and switch over to the 3070 when it releases.

I read in a few posts that people waited over 4 months to step up when the 20xx series launched, so this will be no different; maybe a bit worse due to the current world situation causing for more demand than ever seen.
