Rhoads457, what was your waiting time between step 1 and 2?

Is the 3080 8GB going to come back to the step up options? Can anyone tell from past experience how often should I check step up page?
Currently only the new 3080 12Gb cards are there and the MSRP increase is steep. Also no 3060ti option either.

Original 3080 is a 10gb I’ve heard different things but not likely if you ask me

Timeline so far has been:
12/20/21: Step 1
1/6/22: Step 2
1/12/22: Step 3 (just got it today)
 
It was pretty quick, so I'm guessing maybe luck of the draw with the card I was stepping up to (3080 TI).  I had originally put in for the 3080, but they cancelled it same day and I put back in for the 3080 TI.
