Why isn't the 3080 part of the step up program anymore?  Tried to use my 3070 ti to get a 3080, but the only other cards above that are the 3080 ti and the 3090.

The 3080 queue was long and with the rumors of a 3080 refresh (I read Nvidia is increasing ram on some models.) I think they want to get through the list before Nvidia stops sending 10 gb 3080s. That way they won't have to migrate anyone from any queues.

same with me, tracking showed delivered on Monday but  the step up shows received on Tuesday.
Seems chances of it getting shipped on  24th is very less.   I think they should give us the option of getting the card from  3rd party retailers like BestBuy.

so you are saying new owners of 3080  are already in ditch dug by nvidia.

No from what I read it's a very slight bump In Bram. From 10 to 12 GB. Not going to see much of a difference now but they hoping it gives the cards receiving the bump a little longer legs in the long run.

If they don't ship tonight, they won't ship before next Monday... geee....
A 2 weeks turn around is kind of painful...
 

I think new 3080 sku with more ram is whats making the queue move faster and step up to 3080  not being available.

Really wish they did local dropoff/pickup for those who live in Southern California. Oh well, excited for the new GPU :)
